Giving thanks, Punie-style

Thank you to all for the birthday greetings.

Thanksgiving spent here at home w/my side o' the family, then at J's next day & weekend w/his. Fun & exhausting both times. The cousin babies actually tried to play together, facilitated by their youthful great-auntie (magnets on fridge, dog-patting). At one point the cousin walked over to Punim who was cruising the couch being dog-curious. Cousin squats a little to put his little arms around Punim, to hug him! Amazingly, my little guy knew exactly what his cousin's intent was and, affectionately if unwisely, moved both his hands from the stable surface of the sofa to grip his cousin's little t-shirted shoulders -- and then opened his little kissy mouth and aimed to plant a wet one right on his cousin. Sadly, cousin does not realize Punim's instability and leans in to accept the kiss, and gravity then took over their giant baby noggins -- timmmmm-berrrrrrrr! Somebody had to end up at the bottom, and unfortunately it was my little guy, hitting head to hardwood & on top on that having his cousin's head conk his own on the other side. But just a few tears, and both babes seemed to remember the intent, and all was well.

He likes to makes a kind of "Eeollygollygoggy la leela leega leegoggygollygog" thing all day long now (related to the "Lordy lordy"). Wants to walk holding our fingers, CONSTANTLY. Marches on tippest of toes. Had a scare being in an unfamiliar bathroom & now has to be coaxed into the previously delight-producing bath each time (this breaks my heart as I love to see him able to enjoy his life). Miserably chomping his teeth, although we're not sure which ones.
