Myth of my self
I'm going to change my profile intro in a minute here, but it's sometimes interesting to me to see what I thought was important to put down a while ago. Here's the version I'm about to take down:
"I'm a stress-relief/Esalen massage therapist, married to my creative-genius husband (filmmaker, puppeteer, graphic designer). Mother of the adorable almost-homebirthed Punim, who has his own ideas. Crunchy in theory and mainstream on the cover. Keeping home in the US Pacific Northwest, on our tiny plot of land -- in the city, because people are more civil than in the country. Making up 30-year-old craft kits and bringing them into this century in our brokedown little BradyBunch house. Dreaming of an edible landscape of berries and horseradish, peaches and rhubarb, though good sandwiches don't grow on trees. "Alternative" health care is my vocation and passion; massage, tai-chi chuan, acupuncture, and Traumeel will save our bacon. (An essential element of a good sandwich.) Working up massage research proposals and magazine articles in my mind while I grow my practice."
I think the next one will be MUCH shorter.
