"Like? Like?"

OK, now we know - just because the baby sips cow milk from a cup one day and proclaims unprompted, "Like? Like?" does NOT mean that he should be given a half a cup of it to drink at lunch the next day (and another at bedtime). Because he just doesn't know that he has trouble digesting those giant proteins, and will only be able to tell us by sobbing hysterically and exhaustedly for three straight hours, until we finally think to give him Mylecon and drive him around in the 1AM car 'til unconsciousness overcomes him.

Poor little boogie. We really do try to be good to him, and then I fuck up like that. I don't know any kids whose digestions have developed as slowly as our little guy's has. Forward progress does happen, but he does need us to take him there *slowly.*
