My sweet mother-in-law has died

She passed at about 6 this evening, with her husband, older son & his wife, and her best friend of 45 years by her side. We were on our way here to her home when she went.

She was with me in the room when our son was born. She lectured me on making sure I provided for myself in retirement, "so you don't end up an old bag lady." She was the only one who could pick out presents of clothing for me that fit and suited me perfectly. She raised my wonderful husband to be enchanting, considerate, and responsible for himself.

RIP dear Jean. I miss her so much already.
